How many sessions are needed?

The treatment plan and settings are very customized depending on your desired outcome, budget, and downtime. Morpheus8 begins to stimulate changes almost immediately after the first treatment. Depending on the extent of the improvement a patient desires, a series of 1 to 3 treatments will be recommended.

The most dramatic results are visible when Morpheus8 is done in a series of 3 treatments with moderate settings where the area is only pink and puffy for a day or so. For more assertive treatments that offer the fattest reduction and skin tightening, the skin may be pink and puffy for up to 5 days. These treatments are recommended to be done 4-6 weeks apart for best results.

Is there downtime? Does it hurt?

Morpheus utilizes varying needle depths, depending on your desired outcome. You can expect the skin to be red and or swollen for 1-5 days post-treatment.

You will be provided a topical cream that numbs your skin so you stay as comfortable as possible. However, minimal discomfort is expected, with a pain level similar to IPL or laser hair removal. The numbing cream is applied 45 minutes to 1 hour and can be picked up from our office prior to your treatment.

What results can I expect?

Morpheus shows its results in stages. In the days following treatment, patients notice smoother, more radiant skin rather quickly. As the collagen is stimulated over the next few weeks, lines and acne scars fade and skin becomes tighter and more contoured.
