Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP has been used as a treatment for hair loss or thinning. When applied to the scalp or injected into the affected area, PRP may stimulate hair follicles, promote hair growth, and improve hair density.

Ideal candidates for hair restoration are in overall good health, but have

weak hair follicles and are experiencing small areas of hair loss on their scalp. Patients who are undergoing cortisone therapy, have low blood pressure, or are smokers may not be good candidates for hair restoration.

Topical creams

Hair loss is never welcome. When you catch it early and take decisive action, it’s possible to minimize the damage and perhaps even reverse the process. This can sometimes be done through clinically formulated topical solutions, which we are happy to provide here at SOMA Aesthetic.
